Project Root brings free yoga, breathing, and mindfulness to underserved communities in Southside Virginia — rooted in Crewe. RootBreath extends that mission digitally, making ancient Himalayan breathing techniques available to anyone with a smartphone, completely free.

Free weekly yoga classes in Crewe, Virginia since 2024. 125+ students. 100+ hours of instruction. Entirely by word of mouth.

A free Pranayama breathing app for rural communities. Works on any smartphone. Rooted in the SO HUM Himalayan tradition. Available at rootbreath.org/rootbreath

Youth Initiative:
Monthly yoga for children ages 3–12 through the Healthy Coalition Action Team (HCAT) Grant from the Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth.
